Make time for a trip up The Sky Tower, it's definitely one NOT to miss when you visit Auckland,New Zealand's largest city at a million plus people! At 328 metres (over1000ft) the SkyTower is the tallest man made structure in the southern hemisphere.

The 360° views from its three elevated decks are tremendous, and are topped ONLY by the wire guided SkyJump off the tower observation platform (for those brave enough to fly past outside the viewing windows - we were not at all brave !) 192 metres at 83kmph in 11 seconds. Hmmm.

For lesser mortals, such as us, the view through the reinforced (38mm) glass floor to the street below was still enough to bring on a touch of vertigo!
